Instant Access really messed up a beautiful circuit.
The first righthander(chicane) goes a bit down. And at the back it goes
a bit up.
The Stands are placed at the wrong places.

The only thing that is 100% correct is the spelling of the name "Paul
Ricard" ;-)

The pit exit is totally wrong. and cpu cars sometimes crash into the
pitwall.

If Zandvoort and BrandsHatch are flat as well, I'm going to cry :-(

Eh...was the above comment neccessary?  I saw nothing wrong
with his opinions on the track - I appreciate his view.

Cheers!

And what is your point....???

It seems that Instant Access has got the Paul Ricard track completely
wrong.  Too many bugs and the layout stinks! Should we receive any piece of
racing sim without any criticism? If we get it for free, like the Touring
Car patch for N2, yes, but for something that we have to buy: NO!

Cheers,

Harald

I think the fact is that this new track is made by Instant Access, a
company not connected with Microprose. Microprose spent a lot of time
getting the tracks perfect, IA obviously haven't got the talent or the
knowledge to do the same.

No microprose didn't do CRAP. All they did was giving buying GP2 from Geoff

If you look closely at the history of the Paul Ricard circuit you'll
find that the layout is as near to perfect as you're going to find.

The obvious thing to jump on is the Mistral Straight length.  Yeah the
full Mistral is way longer than that in the Track Pack demo but then
that's the full original Ricard circuit.  The circuit modelled in the
track pack is the current Ricard layout which has been in use for over
15 years.  The original layout was changed, due to FIA pressure, to
remove the portion of the circuit on which Elio DeAngelis crashed
fatally in his Lotus.
