Does anyone know where I can go to get something to make my N2 Car flip?
If not do you know how to in the game?

Or he could just roll his monitor across the room. That would be the
easiest way to flip the car. :)

it is impossible to flip the car!  There is no code in the programming for
flipping.

All right. To flip, in the middle of turns  you can flip. Happens a lot at
mrntsvll and watkins. probebly could happen at all the tracks.

Speaking of smoother, can someone tell me how to do that?
My framerate doesn't seem to be very high.  Whenever I get
more than 2 other cars near mine the game becomes jerky
and I usually end up Spencering one of them.

I have a P100, 32M RAM, my video 'card' came with the system
and is on the motherboard.  For some reason cyrix rings a bell.
It has 1M RAM.  I am running from WIN95.

For race options I have SVGA, 13 cars ahead, 3 behind, with
39 cars racing, I have turned off all graphics except the
car paintjobs and dirt/smoke.  I'm really not willing to
reduce these options further.

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You are more than likely taxing your system to the max.  I used to have
a P90 and basically ran the same setup as you.  However, I may have
gotten a slightly faster frame rate.  If I am not mistaken the P100 has
a slower bus speed than the P90, slowing down your graphics.  You might
(notice the might) gain a frame or 2 by running in DOS mode.  Your first
real option is to consider a better video card.  But, if you have a
cyrix chip a Rendition based card may actually make your control just as
jerky, even if you do get a better frame rate.

I usually ran with car textures at automatic and set the threshold to
about 18.  With this setup I was able to have car textures except on
starts or in heavy traffic.

You are mistaken - it's the other way round. A P90 runs a PCI bus
speed of 30MHz, a P100 one of 33MHz. For Intel processors, the
relations are as follows:

board speed        PCI-bus speed      board to CPU ratio
P60           60                  30                     1
P75           50                  25                     1.5
P90           60                  30                     1.5
P100          66                  33                     1.5
P120          60                  30                     2
P133          66                  33                     2
P150          60                  30                     2.5
P166          66                  33                     2.5
P200          66                  33                     3

(Note that things like 3*66=200 are Intel's marketing arithmetics, not
mine. Maybe they used an early Pentium processor for their
calculations... :)
The reason there never was an official P180 is that it would have been
slower than a P166 because of the bus speed. It's also the reason why
there is not so much of a difference between the performances of a
P100 and a P120, (or P133 and P150), but a huge difference between a
P120 and a P133, for instance.

With Cyrix and AMD chips, you never know, because the names of the
processors (p166+ etc.) do not reflect the actual frequency the chip
is set to.

ObRAS: Car sims need both a fast processor (for simulating physics)
and a fast PCI bus (with resulting faster graphics.) Most often,
however, the graphics part is the bottleneck. I made better
experiences with a P100 than with a P120. To the person Michael
responded to: If you can afford only one upgrade part, go for a decent
graphics card. Check first whether the on-board graphics adapter can
be disabled.

Well,

Maybe to the word spencered could be added gordening (to win or loose
all), earnarding (to loose all), waltriping (to kept doing something
even if not able), irvining (to mistake always) and to grissoming (to be
very very very unlucky).  Did you know that Irvin and Irvine are
wreckers?  Are they twins ;-) Thanks a lot,

P.S.: I'm only trying to be funny
