GP2 now available UP MY ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously,Throttle delay?

Just gave it that title so I could see relevant replies easier.
And I really enjoy reading 400 messages a DAY from people
telling us when their kettle's just boiled etc...

The point is that has anyone wondered why when you lift off the
throttle/apply throttle there's a slight delay in it taking
effect (like 0.2s or something)???  Surely this loses time.

Maybe it's realistic in that modern F1 cars have software
controlling the fly-by-wire throttle and iron out bumps in the
road which would have to add a delay in a 'deliberate' press.

Anyone thought about this/any ideas???

What soundcard do you have? I've noticed that with Gravis Ultrasound
you get a slight delay but SB32 works fine.

really!   I got a SB equivelent (Aztech or something) but cheers, I'll
try having 'no sound' and see what happens (hopefully that'll help my lap
times too!)
