Hi all,
I`m looking for sites with racing videos to download (esp. in-car laps). I
found some sites, but most of them have only few-seconds-videos. Any ideas
where to look?

www.taner.net/movies has quite a few movies. A few of them are from in-car
so you might want to look around there

Thx for the link. I had found this site and had a look there. Maybe I should
have been more specific in my question. I had meant F1-videos:)

Hi Dirk,
F1onboard http://formulaone.iscool.net/ has a lot of videos of
complete laps on board F1s (hence the site name :) from the past few
years. It's a really great site but unfortunately they are having
server problems so not all the videos are available.

You might enjoy this site:

It's sportbike-centric, mostly on-bike video of an R1 rider with a bullet
cam, but many videos include him following cars (usually 911s of some flavor
or other). There are several outstanding videos, mostly of complete laps of
the (current) Nurburgring. The highest quality/size videos weigh in at
about 9 minutes and between 50 and 90 mb. They're not short clips. The
quality is very good, and if you don't feel an urge to get on a sportbike
after seeing these, then you never will.

In particular, there's one where he gets fancy and split screens some shots
between a car he's following on the ring and the shot from his helmet
mounted bullet cam. Highly recommended. It must be nice to live near a
technical road course.

If only it was near. The Nrburgring is 850km/530 miles in each direction
from where I live.

Next weekend I'm FINALLY going to the Ring for 3 days, with 6 friends,
3 Alfa GTV's and lots-a-beer (for after the racing ofcourse :)
8 July I'm driving a couple of laps on Zandvoort.
And next month I'm going to Mexico.
Life is sweet :)
