Hi,

I know Rally Trophy is an old but pretty good game.  I'm asking favor.
Please be no mean.

I am wanting to play Rally Trophy without having to each time put in CD key
(never got a key). Would anyone not playing Rally Trophy any more be willing
to post his CD key?  I don't think it would make much difference as its not
likely we would meet up.

I am even willing to trade keys if you wish.

Thank you

If you purchased RT retail and didn't get a CD-Key, then just contact the
publisher or return and exchange it from where you bought it.

If you have a pirated version, then eat shit and die.

-Tim

P.S. - Rally Trophy is only 5 months old.  I wouldn't consider it old.

The thing about the RT key is this.  I only request it because I don't want
to get the prompt every time.  As many of you know, any key will do.  But
without the proper key you get the prompt every time.  This prevents me from
doing something I'd like to do.

This is not a huge request.  Again I won't go into the specifics of why I do
not have a valid key.  Further, giving this key does not prevent the
original owner of the key from using RT.  It only means that us two cannot
play together online, and that would appear to be unlikely to happen.

Rip me all that you want with ethics and all the rest.   This is just a
simple, harmless request.

Don't worry, I won't sully this forum any longer.  Just one last push for
those not planning to play RT that much, etc...............

Sorry Peter, but the game was actually sold without cd-keys, i think it was
a manufactur error. He is not the only one who didnt get one. I would try to
exchange the game for a new one in the store where you bought it.

<looks confused>
But you don't have to enter the key every time you play the game;
only when you install it.

Why did you not have a valid key? If you won't answer that question,
then you can't expect anyone to be helpful.

I think a lot of people consider it old because of the limited variety
of cars and tracks.

I still play both that and the paleolithic Rally Masters nearly every
day.

Anyone know if Rallisport Challenge is as good as RM was, being that
it was developed by the same team?  Hillclimb stages with the RM
physics engine would be a great deal of fun.  I love sliding about the
sandy/hilly USA stages in the buggy...

Is Rallisport Challenge even released yet?  RT is still a neat game, gaining
renewed interest at my end because of Relay.  Relay sure beats what EA has
to offer with its F1 2002 hot laps.  I think EA likes it best when they
don't have to do a thing except keep the server alive.  If Relay gets F1
2002 approval, then we have something: as it stands, I'm not overly
impressed with EA's hot lapping site.

Colin Mcrae 2 (and 3, when it is released) would also be great on Relay.

Were we not promised that more stages for the game (and maybe even more
cars) would be developed and made downloadable for registered owners?

I must admit, I found RT the best Rallying sim I had played and it's only
that I had all the stages done and won that I had stopped playing it.  I
still go back occasionally but I find with Rallying it is usually more fun
to not know what corners are coming next.

Were we?  I don't remember that, altho, admittedly, I've only browsed
the JoWood boards to see if anyone has managed to make the driver
hands transparent (I've patched the steering wheel textures, but I
can't get beyond that).  I haven't heard anything about an expansion
of any kind.
