Screamer 2?

Screamer 2?

by James Lor » Wed, 05 Jun 1996 04:00:00

Does anyone know whether there are any plans for a new version of Screamer. If
there is what will it have?

I'd like to see improved object textures and the ability to jump the fact that
your car stays glued to the road isn't exactly realisitic. Any comments from
anyone else?

Thanks

Jamie

Have you tried Need For Speed? It has better and faster graphics,
better tracks, better simulation (cars can leave the road), public
domain track editor, etc.

>But if you like Ridge Racer, Screamer is your choice.  I prefer NFS

I've tried for weeks to have mine (T2) working fine with that game (NFS), and
did not succeed. When I accellerate, the brakes aplly themselves halfway
through the gas pedal course. How did you did it ?

I'd appreciate any help on this

Thank you for your time

John.

You need to use a speed-compensating game port then. If you have a little pot
or knob on the back of your game card, adjust it a bit and see how your
calibration comes out. Once you have got it right, you will probably never have
to change the setting again. I had to adjust mine a bit when I firrst got my
T2, because the brakes would come one when I put my foot to the floor on the
gas. A little adjustment, and its no problem any more.
