Ok, it's "Dos for dummies day"... when I see the ICR crack posted, how do
I apply this patch? Do I use debug? Are there more explicit directions?

Brian,
To apply the crack you have to use a hex editor (I use Norton Diskedit).
You edit the file indycar.exe and find the search string. Then you
replace this hex string with the one specified and save the file.
Quick, easy, painless, and no more looking in the manual!
Make sure to back up the file...just in case!

PCTools has a HEX editor too.

Does this apply as well for 1.04e?
Probably not. Either someone nice is able to supply it or to point me
where to find 1.0.5

Try to find the SECOND string first! I also had to do that with my
v1.04.

Only ONE string need be changed with version 1.05
