I have posted to alt.binaries.simlulators.autos my first flight f12000.
It is 1Mb zipped (2,224 Kb unzipped).

I and all friends can't get over how well ea have modelled crash physics.

Kind Regards,

Andre'

I managed to flip the car for the first time yesterday, it is modelled very
well.

You ever gotten bored one night and tried to flip the car on purpose?  That
happened to me, so I went headon into the hairpin wall at Magny Cours.  My car
got stuck to an invisible wall at the edge of the "world" about 100 feet in the
air.  It was hilarious.  :)   Anyway, let's get back to the topic.  Yes, flips
are modeled very well in F1 2000.  Once, I had the brakes too far back in the
car at Monza.  I spun heading into the first chicane and hit the rumble strips
at 170 mph.  The car tipped up onto two wheels and eventually hit the armco,
which pitched me into a small barrel roll that looked rather realistic.  I was
amazed.  :)

Ok.. I admit it...   I've done this too.  If you drive straight through
Priory (the first left in the tight complex before the S/F straight), you'll
hit a ramped berm in front of the Brooklands seating/infield medical center.
I've done a complete backflip with a twist, and landed facing the track...
with no damage :-)

Dents.

Yeah, I found that a week or so ago after I spun out in Priory during
practice.  You can do complete flips and land on your wheels again!
Shades of Live and Let Die, Batman!  Anyways, if you keep going out of
the track landscape, you get kicked back to the track, so you can try it
again (I spent 15 minutes thrashing my Ferrari that way ;-)
