The telemtry function will first check your lap for shortcutting then give
you an option to upload to the EA ranking site.
Don't be discouraged by the times...I rank near 1000 at most tracks til I
filter out all the helps..then I'm like top 20 or 30 in the few tracks I've
uploaded.

Cool DH.  I forgot how to get there.  After a long break I hopped back in today.
Best FF in sim racing IMHO - and I love those F1 tracks :)

Yeah, I thought that there was a problem with the bump modelling in F1 2002
until I downloaded the Hungary track converted from GP4.  On that track, I
was able to ride the kerbs exactly like the real drivers did this year. : )

The first chicane at Monza is particularly *** - hitting those almost
sends the car off the track.  I heard that someone made a modified Monza
track for F1 2002 with kerbs that aren't quite so ***.  The track
modellers at ISI really do need to be fired....

An alternative to ea's hotlap site: http://f1lap.ea-europe.com

is

http://www.findthelimit.com/

They try to sort better by aids, and monitors fuelconsumption and
tyrewear. You can get away with setting those to zero on EA's site.
