I honestly havent seen that much real rallying, I'm actually probably gonna
order cable tomorrow to watch NFL, and Speedvision is always nice...

There are some very *** (probably lethal) incidents in that video. The
worst accidents happen in places like Portugal where thousands of people
are insane enough to stand right alongside (and even on!) the courses as
drivers speed past fighting their cars for control. Totally insane, and
regularly fatal. But that's mankind for you, pretty damned stupid given
half a chance! Must be a nightmare for the drivers. It's hard enough
worrying about you and your navigator without having to worry about
spectators as well.

Anyway, although rallying lacks the rather important element of racing
against people and cars you can see, the "car v track" thing is pretty
damned challenging. I'd still prefer to compete against other cars instead
of gravel and tree trunks, but it's still a very challenging driving
experience. Even at its worst it's easily as satisfying as hotlapping to
work on your GPLRank. And finally it seems to have been simulated
properly.
