The Audigy 2 seems fine, as to pops, clicks, etc. Also have a Revo 7.1.
It's great if you have a lotta headroom (running NASCAR 2003 w. a 2.8-GHz P4
and an ATI 9800, say, should leave you with a lotta spare horsepower), but
it does eat into the frame rate. It also lacks optical/digital output,
altho the sound is very clean (excellent signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic
range).
