First of all, let me say that the complaints about how this is a GPL only
forum are just silly. I have posted NO questions on this topic; all my
questions, however, have been answered. (OK, most. I still don't know if
anyone tried World Driver Championship on N64.)

But... I have been reading GPL posts with great interest, and from
experience I know that if so many people are passionate about it, I should
pick it up.

I'm not sure it will work with my system, though - I have a PIII 500 with a
Diamond Viper Ultra 770 32 meg video card. I couldn't get the demo to go,
but maybe I had some settings wrong.

Anyway, I saw GPL2 for sale on line for $15.00. If I can get the demo to
run, I think I'm buying it based on the great support and following it seems
to be getting here.

This way, by contributing with questions and observations,  I can help
convince certain individuals that this truly is a GPL-only forum. (Which
should be obvious, since after all it is rec.autos.gpl2.)

er.... GPL2?  I'll have to e-mail Papyrus about this since they don't even
know they've written it yet!  :)
Anyway, there isn't a GPL2, just GPL.
GPL only supports Glide(3dfx) and Rendition cards out of the box, so to get
it to run with your TNT2 you'll need the OpenGL Beta2 patch from
www.papy.com , I don't know whether this patch works with the demo, but it
definitely works with the full game.  Give it a try and see what kind of
performance you would get if you bought the full game.

If you got GPl 2 then buy it for 15$ and you can probably send about 5, 000
copies of the game here for about $30 each

Are you sure it was not GP2, only one letter but a big difference....

GPL 2 ?  I want a copy now!! :)

Andrew....unfortunately there only is one GP Legends as yet. but you should
definitely pick it up.
