Bit dissappointing.  The game is a step backwards from the original in
almost all departments.

PGR1 = Quality
PGR2 = Quantity

Have to disagree.  The new tracks are much better - more detail, better
visibility and the addition of a racing groove makes them much more fun for
me.  There were too many tracks in PGR1 where I could not tell where the
corners were because all I could see was a sea of dark brown pixels.  Also
the control feels a bit better to me in PGR2, not as twitchy as it was in
PGR1.  And I'm not sure why people are complaining about the Kudos system in
PGR2 because to me it makes more sense than the one in PGR1.  I'm ecstatic,
I think it's a major upgrade in every department.

From another thread on PGR2.

==================================================

BTW, this isn't documented in the manual so if you have Project Gotham
2 you might want to try this trick...

Once you pick a race if you look down at the bottom of the screen you
have a choice for "Garage" and "Showroom". Pick "Garage".

In the garage there's a choice to "Walk" by pressing "Y". Do this and
you have Halo style controls. Walk around the garage until you find
the arcade game called "Geometry Wars".

Walk up to the game and press "A". Now you can play Geometry Wars!
Left stick moves, right stick shoots, triggers are bombs. Cool!

Found any cheat codes yet?  I like to play these games split screen with my
buddies but everything is still locked in multiplayer.  For PGR1 I had a
"Nosliw" (the cheat code that unlocked everything) character that I used for
split screen play and then I also had my own character so that I could play
single player without cheats.  I have been trying to find something similar
for PGR2 but haven't found it yet.
