While I was racing a friend head to head over the modem, my system (the
remote) was locking up when we were in the race mode. I notice that the F2
screen was up when my system (the remote) would lock up (Host would
continue to run fine). We decided to try it again without pressing F2 or
having the F2 information up on the screen. We were able to race for about
a hour, during this hour I would here and there press F2 and turn it off as
soon as I could. During one of the cautions, I pressed the F2 and BLAM!
The system locked up as soon as I hit the F2 button. The host system
continues to run fine. We tried this on both system reversing the
HOST/REMOTE modes with the same results.
