- Set steering axis sensitivity to 50%
- Set steering axis deadspot to 0%
- Set speed sensitivity to 0%
- Reduce the lock angle in the vehicle setup screen to 16% or less (probably
much less for speedways)
- Make sure the FF strength slider is set to a negative number
- Make sure the FF type is "wheel"
If that doesn't clear it up you might want to add some caster. Also, when
setting axis sensitivities, if you have multiple controllers make sure you
are setting it for the correct controller.
Please post a reply telling us whether this works or not so that other
people who have the same question won't have to ask it again. ;o)

I'd say this is a legitimate topic..no ot needed.
If this is a USB wheel, try powering up and then removing the usp plug.
Wait a moment and reconnect. If that doesn't work, remove the wheel
drivers and reboot. Windows should automatically detect the wheel.
If it's not usb, then just try re-installing the drivers.

Much better using these settings! The most improvement was made by
setting the FF to negative 100%. I had forgotten that all of the EA F1
titles and mods work best on my rig at that setting. I am
experimenting with steering axis sensitivity also, right now ive got
it set to 30%. Steering does not feel light anymore and there is far
more control. The light feeling, lagginess and "driftiness" is gone.
The only complaint I still have is that the FF seems to give too much
of a "jolt" (unrealistic) to the wheel when you hit small bumps on a
straight stretch, but I have not even begun tweaking that. All in
all, I am now satisfied, it controls as well as any other title now.
