Can someone tell me where on the net to get the .dat file swapper so I
can use trucks and cars without having to go into the directory and swap
them out... I downloaded a set that had like 60 trucks in it from
somewhere and dont know how to use it....It didnt come with a
"trucks.dat" file. I am new at this, and would greatly appreciate any
help with this....Thanks a bunch folks

There are two different truck patches available.
1. http://www.pitroad.com/utilities.htm - Christopher Lund's version. This
one provides a good front end but neglects to flatten the rear end. There
was a truck set available for this model - but I can't find it anymore. I
made up Ken Schraders's Penda 53, Jimmy Hensley's #43 and Tony Roper's #31.
The others I found on a site that no longer has them. Check around ...
2. http://members.aol.com/simproject/index.html - The Sim Projects trucks -
along with other utilities. This set does a better job of flattening the
rear of the trucks - but I am not able (as of yet) to get a decent front end
look due to the limitations of the paintkit. Also, I don't know of any
painted trucks for this set. There are some templates available on this
site - however.
