Dave, I just thought I would drop you a line to see how you are. We are
doing o.k. out this way. Renee and I drove out to visit Dave & Karen
last weekend. They are doing fine and will be back here for Ocktoberfest
at Penn Brewery. We will be there on Sept. 21, a Saturday night. Beth &
Matt will also be there. If your dear friend (Big Dave) is there, I am
sure his stay will be short, as always.
  I have not talked to Nick in quite a while. Renee called him earlier
today and said maybe we might see them later on Labor Day (after the
parade). I don't know what your plans are, but I hope you are coming to
the parade. You can just ignore D.R.
  Things right now are pretty hectic at MJK Electric. After a very slow
period at 5th Ave., I have got a few jobs going and I am runnning at a
pretty good pace right now and  could use some help, but none is
forthcoming. What is your status now. Are you still with Vern's?

Simple solution to the problem: Use a mail client for mail, and
a news client for usenet. Unix philosophy: A tools does but one
job, but it does it the best way possible ;-)
