Heh, you really think putting 1000hp on the road (admittently with the help
of aero) was any easier than putting down 400hp in 1967?

Besides, think of all the compromises between mechanincal grip and providing
a stable aero platform bring to the setup equation.

Wouldn't mind trying my hand at it if Papy produced it though, but like Tim
says the likelyhood of it ever happening is very slim indeed.

There is 1001 reasons why Sierra won't green-light another title for a
non-mass market.  Do we need talk about this each 2days? <g>

Why not the '79 season, the greastest Ligier and Ferrari, the good Lotus,
some turbos, some skirts, no turbo + skirt, sould be a good season...

1982 would have me running to the store as fast as my 72 Karhman Ghia will take
me as this is the year I was born.  Through the years I have aqquired quite a
collection of tapes, books, and pictures from this season in F1 (and other
series).  But...being the vintage F1 fan I am 1976 would hold even more fun for
me with the 6-wheel Tyrrels, the Ferrari 312T2, McLaren M23 and also the
"lesser lights" like the Copersucar, Surtees, Wolf Williams, etc.  Plus the
full 14 mile Ring, Long Beach, the FULL Glen, FULL Interlagos, and Zolder.
Plus a down to the wire battle for the championship (even though Lauda more or
less handed it to Hunt at Fuji).  Ahh...well I can dream right :)
