hello, happy new year
i hope 1999 will be a good year for racing simulation.
i think only one team can realize our dreams : papyrus

and force feedback support !

Rod,

I would love to see Papyrus do the 1968-9 cars with wings and model the
downforce,so that the cars handle differently than the 1967 cars.

While we're all dreaming, I'd also like a carset with aero downforce.
Oh and 50% more power and four fenders.  Can you say Can-Am?  That's my
dream.

Rodogerr a crit dans le message

Yeah, Force Feedback !!! I already mailed Sierra for it, but you should do
it too, maybe they will react.

I'd like too another sim like GPL, with GT cars from this era.

WHAT!!!  And ruin a brilliant sim!!!  The main reason why GPL is so good is
because it simulates F1 cars that have NO wings!  Get GP2 if you want an F1 sim
with wings.

#1 on my wishlist for 1999: a native Linux version of GPL. QuakeII is
already faster (read: better framerates under Linux than under Windows
using the new 3dfx miniport, so I would expect the same from a
well-done native Linux version) running on Linux. Come on, Papy, 10
million users and still doubling every year! Need I say more? I'd even
buy it again if they decided to port it to Linux...

Regards,

Uwe

I want a 450-500 mhz computer, with a 19" monitor, and a TSW steering wheel!
Oh, you meant 'software'? :)
Lessons on getting lower than 1:33 at Monza!<g>
