First, are you using the dedicated server code on the host PC
If not try using it instead of starting multiplayer (read n4server.txt) if
that PC is not going to have a driver
Youll learn a lot more about hosting races
In any case check these settings in your player.ini files...
[dedicated server] or [multiplayer host]
UseAIOption=0
Set to 1
[ip0]
max_players=42
You can only have a total of 42 drivers (real drivers+AI)
So change this setting to just 2 and you can run up to 40 AI
I had this problem when setting up servers but not sure if this was the fix
I do know you cant toggle the AI opponents on/off unless you are on that PC,
only the #of AI
If this dont work let me know
