I'm going to try C***te for the first time on hawaii this
weekend. I'd like some tips from people who race there on a
regular basis. ie: perferred line, when and when not to pass,
where to drive when damaged. etc.. My guess is to race on the
apron when damaged, but that's not the case at Dega in the turns.
Any help appreciated . I can hold my own when racing the AI's, but
MP is another thing. The last thing I want to do is cause a multi-car
pile-up and have users telling me to go back to Dega <g>.

Don-

First, you should ALWAYS stay low when you are driving a damaged car.
If some moron runs into you while you are driving below the white line,
he desreves all the damage he/she gets. This is the way it is in all
forms of oval track racing. This is why on restarts, the lapped cars
are to the inside.

Next, C***te. This is my favorite track. In the turns, I have my car
setup to run as low as I can, next to the white line. This gives me
room to drift up to the wall exiting 2 and 4. It's better to have your
car loose, than tight here. Out of 4, I like to stay next to the wall,
and cut the first front straight turn so I am next to the grass in the
short straight. This is where I like to pass. Driving a big arc down
the front straight, is a much longer route to run, and I can USUALLY
slip under someone here or going into turn one. Through 1-2 I stay low
again, drifting out to the wall down the back straight.

Have fun, and stay out of trouble. Maybe I'll see you there this
weekend.
