To all you Canadian F1 fans:
Just got off the phone with TSN program
director and was assured that ITV will cover
the rest of the F1 season so we won't have
to listen to those speedvision pinheads anymore.

And you trust and believe TSN?  Good luck with that.  Remember as soon as
there is something they deem "better" than racing is on in the time slot
then the racing usually gets bumped.

I am merely the messenger,I don't trust or not trust
TSN, I only hope that things happen as they said.
As far as TSN bumping FI, it is rare that anything
occupies the 6am time slot that the majority of races
are broadcast.

Hey - don't be so *** those Speedvision pinheads.  It's hard to do the
commentary on a parade and make it interesting.  :-)

I'm praying that us Australians will get ITV's commentry in future instead
of the Channel 10 pinheads.  I've become a Martin Brundle fan these days and
James Allen is also filling his role nicely despite what the knockers say.

Yay!

I was doubly pissed during the last race.  First my cable company blacked
out the wrong channel (TSN) and left Speed active.  Then I noticed TSN was
back on but... you know what I found.

I hate the Speed crew enough but correct me if I'm wrong but the Speed
commentators aren't even at the track for the event. They're speaking from a
studio in the US, I believe. That's just wrong.

Dale.

The current Speed crew is a big improvement over a couple of years ago.  think
about that for a minute.

Never saw 'em... we've had the ITV guys providing coverage since I was a wee
lad.  Even when Speedvision started up I continued to watch the TSN
programming.

I know they still have David Hobbs...and this is a post I redo almost
every year...but I miss the OLD Hobbs...the DRUNK Hobbs....he'd slosh
around about how Prost was about to administer the "Coop dee Gracy"  At
least he seemed Drunk at times...dunno if he was...I do enjoy hearing about
how much Sportscar history he actually has...he put in a lot of miles
racing in various classes.
