Hello All; What about the OTHER tracks? Lets talk about some times on

Don,

The problem I see with Fastrace is the "random" abilities that are
applied to the AI.

I'm adjusting my setup to work well in traffic, but the traffic is
inconsistant.

With the exact same setup, but a different pass thru Fastrace I can turn
laps upto 197.750, other times I have a hard time reaching 196.500.

It's all based on the "random" abilities the lead AI car has.

To reach 197.750 *I* have to draft behind an AI (Bumping when
reasonable).

But sometimes even that isn't enough to get the leader going fast
enough.

I could conceivably reach 197.750 if the AI were to draft close behind
me, but that doesn't happen.

So at this point, it's a craps shoot.  If you show up strong, and the AI
shows up strong, those records will fall.

I've been ahead of the pace to break to previous record only to slip and
lose the draft with about 10 laps left.  That costs about 2 mph per lap.

The other thing that is real frustrating is when both you and an AI are
going good only to have another AI somewhere back in the pack have
problems.  When you come back around to pass the slow car, your
"drafting buddy" gets hung up by the slow traffic.

Yes that is right!!!  There is random resuilts and random AI's with
different speeds.  But its still better than RANDOM YELLOW
FLAGS!!!!

And you can submit as many attempts at each track as you like...

That is because I assume you are getting lots of drafting help some
time...

Yes... That is the secret to off-line racing.. Darfting not passing..

That is a bumme.. Thats what GOD invented SHIFT R for <GGG>

Yes.. But its still better than RANDOM YELLOWS...   You can now
do the RACEBILL which is 35 laps of unrestricted racing at dega....

I will forward all this info to JOE FARR the designer of FASTRACE

Thanks for the input

Ok,

but after all that.. Even you didn't talk about anything but "Dega".

Atlanta.. I found that if you have a loose setup, you had better stay
away from the white line exiting turn 4.

Can you say hello pit wall?
