Just got Nascar 2 and it sucks using the keyboard.  So I need to find a
steering wheel setup with brake and gas pedals.  Any recommendations?

For an entry level wheel and pedals, the Thrustmaster Nascar Pro is hard to
beat. Check it out at www.thrustmaster.com
You can pick one up at a Best Buy or CompUsa cheaper than ordering direct.
If your serious about sim racing, and are convinced you are going to stick
with it, check out both the TSW and TSW2 at http://soli.inav.net/~thomas/
The TSW2 is cheaper than the TSW, I recently upgraded to the TSW2 and love
it.

V3 InterAct $60 is a great deal and works well.

If you can still find a Thrustmaster GP1, it's a good starter.  But I believe
they are discontinued.  CompUSA had them about 6 weeks back for $0 (yes, free)
after rebate.  I actually prefer using a quality joystick (I have a CH F16
Combatstick) and separate set of pedals (CH Pro Pedals).  CH also has a
steering wheel, but it's only for those who don't like a lot of resistance.
But I bet it has a better on-center than the TM wheels.  It's about $60 or so.
You can find the non-Pro pedals for what, another $45 or so?

Still, cheaper wheel/pedal combos can be found, like Interact's.  For perhaps
$50-60.

I think that for price  as a beginner you can't beat the TM GP1. You can pick them up for next to nothing and although they are built inexpensively it would be a good way to start. If you take sim racing seriously then you will probably want a better unit eventually.  Check the link below to get an idea.

HIYA GREG,
You have three ways to go price wise, 1 Thrustmaster Products, 2 TSW2 made
by THOMAS ENTERPRISES, or 3 ECCI Products.
The TM  will cost anywhere from $50.00 up to $120.00 are so.
The TSW2 starts at $220.00 up to $750.00 are so you can look at them at
www.tsw2.com
The ECCI starts at $800.00 and goes up to $1500.00 are so.
I do not know the URL for TM or ECCI, I hope this helps you out.

I'd definitely recommend the ACT Labs RS for
an entry level wheel.  The price is $70 and
the quality is excellent.  Check it out at:

I've been using an ACT RS wheel/pedal combo at work for a few days, and
I'm impressed so far... I don't know how it'll hold up over the long
haul, but it definitely is MUCH nicer than I'd have expected for a $70
wheel.
