In a surprise move, Microsoft have released a hyper-realistic motor racing
simulation featuring their ever popular purple puppet, Barney as chief
technician and super pilot of an F1 Ferrari. "This will knock the diapers off
girly sim like Grand Prix Legends", claimed Llib Setag, the Project manager of
the Barney F1 project, "and it will sell millions as well". MS Barney Goes
Racing will be released as part of Windows 99 which is due for release in 2003.
In response, racing software house, Papyrus, have lauched a anti-trust case
against Microsoft in the Federal courts, claiming that it is anti-competitive to
release this joke as part of their operating system. Microsoft's defence seems
to rest on the fact that all their operating systems are jokes anyway.
Cheers and a happy April Fools,
Paul
