Am I the last person to know about this program, RB-Joy, or is it a little
known secret? Raymond from Act Labs kindly pointed me to the URL. It's a
neat little 7KB program that allows you to assign keyboard  commands to your
joystick (or wheel). You can even assign the axis with % movement to run
keyboard games with your joystick

It sure is nice to run the Force RS in Nascar 3 and be able to pull up the
menus with the wheel buttons.

I will give ya the URL when I get home. It'll set 10 buttons and doesn't
crash any games. It's also 'charity ware', meaning you don't pay the author,
you donate money to charity. If anyone is looking for a good charity, email
me and I'll supply my address ;)

Make sure you're not using the wingman profiler at the same time.
Exit the profiler then try rbjoys.exe again. If you still have problems,
read the text files that came with it. I'm using it for gp2 at the moment
and its working great!

The most current version is 2.7. When you set it up, for each button you
have to check the 'ON' box and the box near the command. It will work.

Here's the URL for the site. Version 2.7 is the most current. The site isn't
in English mostly, but the menu at the top brings you to RBJoy.
 www.rbsoft.de
If anyone is running a different button editor that crashes a particular
game, try this. If it still crashes, it's probably the game, not the editor.

BTW, the program on his site called Drives is also good.

Hello,

OK, I have to give credit where it is due.  I actually stole the URL

I hope the program is easier to use than the web site! I have no idea
how to read the language that it is written in.
