I won't even try to decipher his irrational twisted scibblings.

|I don't understand how invading Iraq did not scare these guys into not
| attacking us. Mitch said it would.
First off, I don't believe all of these people were "Black-Americans".
Three were and the rest were from somewhere else. All were Muslims,
apparently.
But the way I see this is that someone is trying to make Americans think
this catch was a big deal, that the planners planned an imminent attack.
The reality is that this was just a bunch of people, unrelated to any
terrorist group, who were thinking about doing something, their main
headquarters being their garage.
I liken it to a bunch of seven year-olds planning a raid on the nearest
apple tree.
The American government just wants Americans to think that the billions of
dollars spent on home security is being well spent, when in actuality the
money is going into someone's pocket and is doing no good at all.
Alanb
And if the 9/11 terrorists were caught prior to the attack you and YOUR TYPE
would have said the exact same thing. Its all a big *** against YOU
Rex and DGF. LOL.

Yes, but that's the thing-- they weren't caught beforehand, because of the
fact that it WAS the actual thing, not a bunch of kids planning some pipe
dream while they played Gran Turismo.
The government needs to show that they are doing something, so such a
small-scale roundup of a bunch of kids has to be portrayed as some kind of
major operation. I think it's pretty obvious that this plan was dreamed up
in the imaginations of these kids, similar to the dream of a kid who
imagines hitting a home-run to win the World Series.
That doesn't mean that some foiled plots aren't serious plots. It's just
that all plots are serious plots, when it comes to the government trying to
convince the public that this War on Terror is actually making a difference.
The way I see it, Homeland Security is a joke and a money-maker for those
involved in providing the security.

Funny you mention this as Ive always considered you (and the entire left) as
more of a commie/socialist type which by the sound of your statement makes
little sense. More, bigger government that feels it needs to tell everyone
everything daily. Elitism at its finest :) The republicans should take
heed and get back to their roots. Less gov less restriction.

|I don't disagree with you on this point. Gravytrainriders do little good

I can't see how firin' up a few bowls of ice a week bears any resemblance to
what I said.
Seriously, though, you talk just the way all the conservatives on television
and the radio talk, so you must have been watching. Democrats typically
feel the government should provide programs to help the needy and get them
started; they generally don't think that bigger government is better.
That's the conservatives' take on it, so that they can scare the public.
And the public has fallen for it in the last two elections. But with
control of both Houses of Congress, the Republicans have spent most of their
time on financing the war, getting rid of gay marriages, and stopping flag
burning. All that in six years! If Americans don't go to war, the war will
come to us; if gays can marry, the world will end; and if flag burning is
countenanced, lawlessness will ensue. All scare tactics.
What a freakin' mess Bush and the Republicans have made of things. The
Republicans had their chance: I suspect they will lose the House of
Representatives next time 'round.
Alanb
Great minds just think alike.
Homo's don;t deserve the same rights and privileges as a man and woman,
period. They can do whatever they want behind closed doors but dont try and
force that mess on the public which is exactly the GOAL of every homo
activist since the dawning of the current age of political correctness.
When a person disagrees youre instantly labeled a homophobe thus bringing
down the wrath of the ACLU and every leftwing nutjob on the face of the
earth. The truth sometimes hurts. Some people just need to be saved form
themselves and their inability to make any kind of rational decision.
If you listened to anything but Air America or Kos you would know the
constitutional amendment is all about protecting the rest of America from
the likes of Massachusetts. They will pass a state law and it will then
become the law of the land and then every liberal judge in America will
strike down the CURRENT STATE LAWS already on the books (in many states)
thus rendering those states who's voters passed anti-gay marriage laws
effectively mute. Activism at it's finest... You can offend me but I cant
offend you eh?
That my friend is the only REASON why it's even brought up. To save the USA
from Massachusetts and it's band of ***ing moronic retards.
That tinfoil must be quite binding on your brain to think this was yet
another vast right wing *** against your people, rotflmao....
Im no republican and am against many things they do. A woman has a right to
choose and the drug war has been the single biggest failure in the history
of mankind. The last issue is far and away bipartisan though. BUT at
least the repubs can defend us from the crazed islamists. The dems cant.
Im all about personal responsibility which is the charter of the
republicans. Im against big gov which is exactly what democrats want. This
is why Im so dumbfounded the dems hate Bush so much. He talks conservative
but walks like a liberal. That said at least he had the balls to do
something about Iraq and the terrorists. Clinton would still be worried
about his next BJ instead of Americas safety.
