NH - Using My Own Car

by Dean William » Sat, 27 Oct 2001 05:37:48

No matter how many times I go through this, I can never get it to work if I
have to reinstall.

I have my car, decawi.tex.  I remember that there is supposed to be a
drivers.txt file where I can put my info into.

I don't install Heat in the default directory.  I have a small C: partition
and a large D: partition.  I do that so that I can have all the drivers cars
and stuff on the D: drive.  But Hasbro still makes a directory in C:\Program
Files\Hasbro Interactive\Nascar Heat.  But then there's the directory on my
D: drive, NASCAR Heat with a Data directory in it.

Where on earth is the drivers.txt file supposed to be located.  I can't find
it.  I know that I had to put the options.cfg in my D: NASCAR Heat folder
and modify it to allow for *** mode.

Every time I go through this, I get so frustrated I want to put my Nascar
Heat CD into the blender.

Can someone explain to me in really simple terms, how to get my painted car
onto NH so I can drive my own car.

Thanks in advance,
Dean (Decawi)
