Im looking for some advice on getting a new ISP.  Ive had it with the
allocated 1MB of total space.  Im paying $2.00 per mb for space over
1MB.  Hardly enough space for webpages.  I found a local ISP that
LOOKS good on paper..  ($15.95 per month unlimited access, recognizes
both 56K standards, offers ISDN, 5MB of space, etc).. however

How do I determine a good ISP in regards to NROS.  I hope to get on
NROS in January but I want to make sure my ISP is up to the task.

Does anyone know of some questions I can ask or inquire about in an
attempt to select the correct ISP ???

The only downside to all this is the changing of email address and
homepage address *yuck*

Thanks

Ask them, how they are connected to the backbone (internet).  You
should get answers something like "so and so many T1 lines and so and
so many T3 lines".  Maybe even a T4 :).  If they do have a T4, GET IT!

If they are connected with only on T1, I wouldn't go for it.  You get
a high ping = lag time.

Dave.
