Looking For Some Tracks

by Tom Pabs » Fri, 26 Dec 2003 14:52:27

Hi Guys...

First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone.....and a Happy New Year!

I'm looking for some tracks that will run in F1-2002, F1-C or any of the
mods thereof:

Long Beach
Monterrey (Fundidora Park)
Milwaukee (oval) and,
Denver (street course)

I haven't installed all the mods for F1-2002 or F1-C yet....so not sure what
tracks those might contain.  Any help in locating a URL for any of the above
tracks would be appreciated.

Regards,

Tom

I'm not sure if any of those are available...all CART tracks...do you have something
up your sleeve?  :)

Here's a link to a fairly current track site.
http://www.teamspeedsims.com/F1/index.html

Off the top of my head, here are theCART tracks that I know of for F1c
Vancouver03(very narrow)
Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway(probably just a conversion from f12k2)
Elkhart Lake
California Oval
Rockingham European Oval
Portland
Mexico City(another conversion from f12k2)
Cleveland03(much improved from the old ICR2 layout)
Toronto

Hi Dave...

Long time no see!  That's because I haven't been here......at least not
posting much lately.

Those are indeed CART tracks......but also...they are Toyota Atlantic Series
tracks......who run at all the CART venues.

Isn't somebody already doing a CART sim/mod for F1-C?

I'm struggling with getting F1-2002 (and F1-C) video settings and
tweaks.......to work well.  I had F1-2001 nailed down...but none of that
stuff seems to work very well in F1-2002 (F1-C).....so I guess I will be
back in here a lot over the next few days getting some help from all you
hardware gurus!

Long Beach and Milwaukee tracks.....I'd kill for!  Anyone know if they are
"work in progress" even?

Regards,

Tom

Thanks Charlie....and Dave....

I do have that site bookmarked and did collect most of the tracks I need.  I
guess I was asking here because I thought maybe there were additional tracks
maybe included in some of the mods.....that wouldn't have been listed
individually on that site.  But, now I think I see their format is such that
the Long Beach and Milwaukee tracks would have been listed.....but indicated
as part of a mod.  My mistake.  I know you guys have been running this stuff
for close to a year now, its all new to me however.  I'll get it figured out
in a few more days.

Thanks for you feedback and help, though.

Regards,

Tom
