How do I save a file from alt.binaries.simulators.autos?  All it shows on the screen is a bunch of garbage.  
I am using Netscape 2.0

Try using a newsreader instead! Forte Free Agent is a good choice
(since it is free!). Go to www.forteinc.com.

Yes, Free Agent is a good choice.  After you set it up, go to the
article that has the 'garbage'.  Then go to the File menu and select
Save Binary Attachments.  Have fun!
