I know these postigs are really cheesy, but I am totally serious. I
monitor this newsgroup because I love Indy Car Racing 2, but by the sound
of it GP2 and Nascar are good games. Could someone compare the two for me
or direct me to a site that does so. I am planning on buying another
racing sim (in case ya'll didin't know).

I think that GP2 is ok if you like all that techno-babble but when it
comes to the crunch ICR2 is a better sim to sit down and enjoy. Buy
Nascar and then find the utilities on the net which allow you to
exchange tracks between Nascar and ICR2.

Ya, you should get both. Particularly GP2, if you love ICR2. Nothing
against NASCAR. GP2 made me a fan of F1.

At the moment, if you have a playstation (sony, PSX), NASCAR is now
available, and Psygnosis just came out with their formula one sim/game
called F1. The Psygnosis one is amazing. I think ICR2 and GP2 have
more depth to their simulations, but this playstation game comes
closer than either to the feeling of actually being on the tracks. And
after a few days of driving, I think most people could agree that the
driving model is pretty good. No mirrors, though!

BTW, whenever a new sim comes out, I always think it's model sucks for
the first few days. Seems to be part of the experience.
