OT Shifter Karts

This probably belongs on another message board but I know how hard core
some of the posters are and thought I would share my experience in a
real live 125 shifter go kart today. HOLY SHIT!!! It is SO fast and such
a rush, if you ever have the opportunity don't pass it up. I spent a
couple of previous sessions in the 100's and they seemed fast but I
though I would try the shifters and am still reeling from the
adrenaline. They can be handful as it is hard enough to control without
thinking about shifting but after a few laps it was kinda easy, at least
to shift and drive. Not easy to go really fast.

Now I am wondering about a Kart sim..............and how to change cars
in GPL to look like karts and............can I get a bump shifter on my
MSFF wheel and..................I'm sure a good night's sleep will help.

Take care all

Now thats something that might be nice in GPL.

If you lowered the power a bit the phsyics would be very nicely suited for a
kart.

And you'd have the bonus of moviing hands and stuff.

I've thought of this before only Paul Hoads editor doesn't seem to like me
very much.

Shame though, I was quite handy with his GP2 editor.
Maybe someone would have a go?

2 strokes rule, or did. : )  I gotta RZ350 street bike, It smokes. <g> Ive
seen video of guys racing karts that use rz/banshee 350 motors. 140mph! I'll
dig up the link i found a couple years ago.

The 125 shifters are fun but if you really want to go fast try the 100cc
Formula A karts. At every race I ever been to, they always turned quicker
lap times than the shifters. And there's nothing like driving a direct drive
kart!
