you might remember back in 1999 when PS2 was  unveiled,  Polyphony had a
GT2000  which was basicly a demo using a very souped up GT2 engine from
PS1 - but the graphics were dozens of times more detailed than GT2 on PS1.

well, it seems that Vision GT for PS3 is the same sort of thing. it uses the
GT4 engine from PS2 and bumps it up to HD high-res, and obiously uses alot
more polygons.     Vision GT  is *not* GT5, just like  GT2000 demo on PS2 in
1999 was not  GT3 A-Spec

Polyphony says they want the eventual GT5 to be 100 times more detailed than
GT4

So it's the same idiotic 10-year old gameplay of heading into the wall to go
faster/banging into others to slow down/6 AI racing/no multiplayer/all
graphics no physics.

Thanks but no thanks.  If there's one that rehash more than Geoff Crammond,
it's those GT developpers.

Have you finished?! ;-)

I'd watch the video if I were you.  It's a minor mod to GT4, but there
are 15-20 cars racing, full pit crews performing tyre changes etc
(hundreds of people on screen at once), locked at 60fps-something PGR3
can't do on the xbox MCE/1.5/360, and ironically something my P4 3.0Ghz
can't do in GTR/RBR/rFactor.
