EA SBK how to get "highsided" ?

by * Leon » Mon, 06 Sep 1999 04:00:00

Hi

I read of highsided to mean
that you slip in such a way that the
bike throws you upward, giving a
spectacular accident
( which I simply love in SBK  :-0 )

So far I have not been able to get
this highsided accident
Any recommendation how to get it ?

Best regards

Go into Parabolica at Monza too fast...tunr sharply into the turn....make sure
u loose the rear and snap the bike back the other way...works almost everytime

I have found this especially easy to do when I wore down a soft
compound pair of tyres. Not too much that they were useless, but
enough so that they wouldn't have much grip on tight corners.

Once you notice the back end sliding, counter-steer!

Still would love to see a motorcycle controller that you actually sit on,
and lean.
With force feedback, that highsiding would throw you across the room.

Big thump.

Wife in another room: Honey you ok?
You:  Yeah, I just made a little mistake  :)

Might take sim racing to the extreme...you might have to wear a helmet while
"riding" :)

This would certainly make the bike sims in the arcade feel more
realistic!
