Of the posts that I've read (maybe 50%) regarding the problems with the
1.1 patch, I didn't get the impression that people are whining...it's
just people stating the facts: when the see the problem, how it affects
the game, and wondering (and asking)why. These posts make it possible
for others to decide whether or not to install the patch and the
problems it may create. I'm sure the posts are also helping Papy to
gather info for addressing the problems with the patch. Just my opinion.

Ok I understand that many of you are having many problems with the patch. I
myself havnt had time yet to totally test the new patch and features.
HOWEVER WAKE UP GUYS & GALS !!
1. Papy did a great job with the game.... without them we would have no GPL
2. Papy is not a deliver and close the file company. they listened to us
and brought out a patch to try to satisfy our demands.
3. Ok...maybe there was not a great dela of testing for this patch BUT ALL
OF YOU TELL ME HONESTLY.... DIDNT THE MAJORITY OF US WHINE TO PAPY SAYING
"OH PAPY OH PAPY WHERE ART THOUST PATCH, OH PAPY"
Huh ! They had a huge demand from all us GPL fanatics ! We are part to
blame for pushing and pushing and pushing..

and lastly ( i wont bore you much longer) and most importantly

4. HAVE PATIENCE !! Papy aint gonna leave you in a drain to slowly
decompose ! Give them a moment and the space to breath and look at it!

Im sorry for havin a whine but there are many who are a little ticked off
and are going a bit beyond what is neccisary. Be thankful that Papy brought
the game out... and have some patience while they work it out !

Ok, question.
The subject of your message is "TO ALL!"
Now seeing how this message is about GPL, then this message does not
in fact apply "TO ALL!"
It should say "TO ALL GPL USERS!" or something like that.
When someone says "TO ALL!" that to me says this message will apply to
ALL reader's of this newsgroup regardless as to if they own GPL or
not.

BTW, When did this group just assume that GPL is the only sim worth
talking about? It's not, there are better sims out there.
I wasn't even alive in 1967 so I could care less about driving a car I
have never seen or never will in real life.

Back to your whining, flaming, and general "GPL is God" ranting....

Yes Andre! Icr3 or Cart3 if they made it like GPL ;O)
Hint Hint!! Also they can patch, fix, bandaid, glue it or
whatever! Imho; Gpl is the best sim I have ever raced
and would really like to see Cart upgraded to it!

that. You don't seem to be in the target group of GPL. You don't want
to "waste" your time to learn something that is very difficult. You want it
"the easy/quick way" and that's not bad either, maybe it's just better for
you to drive something that "gives YOU more" than GPL :)

But tell me where is better sim and I'll buy one of those ;)

PS. I think you should of sayed: "there are better sims out there for me".

Oh? What are these "better sims"? Please list all the sims that have
as gooed a 3D car physics/driving model (with a force-feedback
implementation to match it).

Sure, knock yourself out. I've played racing games that were more
enjoyable for a short period of time, but nothing with gameplay that
lasted a year or more (the last one with that much replayability for
me was NFS 1).
