I had an * OLD * TM2 which did fairly well, but there was NO comparison
between it and the Logi Wingman FF I replaced it with. The Logi (the original
all red wheel) is still doing fine for our grandsons and I replaced IT with a
factory refurbished original red wheel and then had Jens Schumi's ball bearing
kit installed. The best of both worlds, I'd say, with a very low total cost.
Maybe you've been able to try them all, but if not, the Logi is worth a look,
especially if you could get the original red unit. And I would tend to discount
the views of the purists who scoff that force feedback is a gimmick; I drove
'fifties era passenger cars with the power steering of that period, and if you
think you'd like that totally numb, completely devoid of road feel and tactile
cues type of experience, you can have it with any non-force feedback wheel in
your favorite simulation! Good luck! Glen Priest
