?????DRIVING SIMULATOR??????

Does anyone know if there is a driving simulator for PC that emulates
the feeling of driving a car in the
city in the country. I`m not talking of a simulator like slipstream,
gearhead etc. I`m talking of a simulator
where you must stop for red lights keep you lane and stop for
pedestrians.

I would be VERY happy i anyone could answer me that question and, if
it`s possible tell me the adress to the
page where I can download the whole game, demo, or just the review.

The only one thaty comes to mind is a game called "Test Drive".  I
think the last version was Test Drive 3, and I believe it was by
Electronic Arts.  I would say it came out about 2-4 years ago.  It
gave you a choice of about 6 different high performance cars
(Corvette, Ferrari Testarossa, Porsche, etc.) and 4 different
countrysides to cruise in.  It had a considerable amount of road to
travel.  I had every version that came out, and always found it to be
a little choppy in the graphics while driving at top speed, and I
always had the fastest pc's available.  on todays machines It may
prove to be a lot smoother.  You may still be able to pick it up in a
bargain shelf or bin at a game retailer since it's a little outdated.

I have 2 driving simulators based on actual cars.  These two games are CAR
& DRIVER, and Road & Track's: THE NEED FOR SPEED.  In both games the
tracks and cars were designed with the help of two major car magazines.
CAR & DRIVER is an older game that came out after the Test Drive series.
Try both games out.  They fee very good.
