The forcast is for rain on Saturday which will wash out my trip to the
drags, but I just might make it to the RASCAR race  whoo hooo!  So which
tracks are on deck this weekend, and are we running the patch or not? Might
even get to give Eldred a run for that last spot.

thanks

Talladega and Homestead at 4pm EST. I assume we are running the patched
version. I hope Eldred's installed it on his machine.

I forgot to bring back my pedals (which my cat chewed the cord) at work.
They were getting repaired there, but I forgot them under my desk.  URGH I
won't have them until Saturday night.

I would had kicked all your arses at Talladega ;-D

Because I won't have time :) :(.  I'll be sleeping only very late tonight
and wake up just in time for the "Saturday Afternoon Massacre", the Montral
Canadiens vs. Boston Bruins hockey game.

I couldn't believe it at first.  My league a couple of days ago was at
Talladega, so during practice I normally did 15 or so drafting practice laps
just to get in shape before qualification.  I hadn't touched yet the brakes,
I mean it's Talladega (I lift the throttle only, it's imho more precise).  I
then flashed my autochat to enter the pits... aaaaahhh my brake doesn't work
as I saw later she chewed only one of the 3 electrical connection inside the
cord.

Thankfully it was only practice, really what can you do?  NR2002 doesn't let
you exit until you've stopped completely.  I just passed right through
pitroad in neutral at 180mph, and brushed my car to a stop high into T2,
helping myself with the wall to slow down my car ;-)

So that wasn't really a wall riding fix that Papy put in. It was a "if your
cat chews your brake cord fix". Now it all is so clear. Guess I'm gonna have
to take back all those *** things I said about Papy................NOT!

Well, you, me, and Colin had some fun laps during practice, anyway...<g>

Practice made the whole thing worth while :)  I think I wasted my "save" in
practice. I should have kept it for the race.
