No Save on N2 <I like it>

I know ALOT of people will disagree with me, but I like the fact there
is no way to save a race on NASCAR2. B-4 when I raced I was hitting
everything, well, I wasnt really hitting EVERYTHING but I was trying
some gutsy moves cause I knew if I screwed up that I could just start up
again from the last yellow flag- which is where I saved the race. NOW in
N2, Im racing more patient and better because Ive found out that it sux
to go the distance then crash and have it all end; in the end making me
NOT try such a stupid outside pass at Darlington the next race. In fact,
has it made anyone else out there race better?? When I first got
NASCAR2, I did not test or race random races, I jumped right into a
season, KNOWING I wasnt going to do good. And I didnt. Because I was not
able to save a race, I got 16 DNF's in that season, and only 3 top 5's,
with one win. In my next season, after finding out that I took the save
race option in N1 for granted, I raced more patiently and got 4 DNF's,
which is better than 16; Duh.
So in the end, not being able to save a race is a good thing, it makes
it more challening. BUT, it does suck to race a long distance and all of
a sudden get a phone call and have to quit to go do something, LOSING
the whole race. OH WELL.
So, if Papyrus does give a save race option in the patch, Ill take it.
But if they dont, dont cry about- it aint that bad.

Point well taken.  I really want the ability to randomize after
qualification to get some of the faster cars starting near the back.
Please give us back a save race weekend after each session - if not during
the race itself.  When the fast cars all start up front - it takes away the
ability to hook up with a fast car and race to the front (yep - you guessed
it - I qualify mid pack or near the rear).
