Well the old Compaq 900 went back to CostCo. Somehow after a few crashes
Windows got hurt and since Compaq has their own version of ME with the
drivers for the PCI bridge, modem, net card and built in sound card, I could
not reformat the HD and start again. It would have to be sent somewhere to
fix! But CostCo has a satisfaction guaranteed or you can return it policy.

Went down to FRY's and PC Club today. Got everything except , Case with 300
watt supply, MB and CPU. Should get those by next weekend. Still undecided
between AMD and Intel.

Just picked up Robot Arena. Think Battlebots but simpler. Unfortunately it
does not work on my old 2 year old ABIT MB. The other 2 computers run it
fine. Should be a riot in multiplayer. Axes, hammers and saws...oh my! Look
for it at Wal-Mart soon, $19.95.

Go with AMD... Bang for the buck wise it's the best around
Especially with their new 1.33GHz
