Imho it's a very crappy game. It's a cheap copy of Driver. And while I
terribly enjoyed Driver, I deleted TIJ after playing 3 levels.
Drive from point A to B within a short time limit, while getting rid
of the police. The 'getting rid of the police' part seems to be more
of a matter of pure luck instead of good driving skills imo.

You can't reconfigure your wheel settings. I could not get my pedals
working, and without any controller setup options in the game there
was no way to even try something to get the pedals working.

Anyway, keys seem to work better for this arcade racer anyway.

I could not discover an in-car view.

Agreed - save your money. My copy went back to EB within 48 hours

On the arcade front, anyone know of a release date for Crazy Taxi on the PC?
I thought it was imminent...

Put it this way, it was released (in the US at least) as a $10 Playstation
game.

I tried it.  imho the physics rank right up there with pizza driver.
also, there is no configuration of input devices.  just three presets
(keyboard, pad and wheel).  LWFFGP didn't work.

It's not a sim, the physics are a bit floaty (well, 'lunar' would be a more
apt description)

But it IS fun if you're a fan of the movie. It's worth playing through to
actually get to the 'job' itself.

Come on guys, it's only a light-hearted romp :)

it could be, if I could get my wheel to work.  but when they don't
include any sort of input configuration tool (except the three
presets), I have to ask; WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING!?
