I was able to log onto a RACER server last night and run a few laps. A
guy named Bill Creaseman joined me for a while. There was a race on
another RACER server with about six drivers, but I missed the start of
the race while trying to download Lime Rock.

Anyway, I'd recommend to everyone here to go over to the racer web site
at http://www.racesimcentral.net/;I'm ready to get in with
some larger fields of drivers!

I signed up a while ago, but still haven't found out how one obtains the
server passwords. Any help would be much appreciated!

I was in that other race.

Friday night it's the adv trainers at Toban. We had 18 last week.

I tried a forum search, but it doesn't work, all searches come up empty.
Can you tell me which forum to check for the announcement? I find it
hard to browse the RACER forum for longer than a minute at a time
because of the horrible colour scheme (white on black gives me massive
after-images when looking at something else for a change ;), and sadly
there seems to be no other forum skin available. 8(

Yep, tried that, but apparently they have only one skin available right
now, which is white on black and quite hard to read (for my old eyes,
anyway)

I didn't realize that there weren't any other options there.
Have you tried a quick post to Eric or Gonzo?
I think creating a quick different colored background shouldn't be all that
hard - time permitting of course. It's worth a mention to them anyway :)

I don't have problems with the colors, but on pages that I do, I
highlight the entire page and that almost always helps. Maybe that will
help you, although I know it is not the ideal permanent solution.
