Go to the Nascar2 folder in Explorer.  Right click on nrosrend.exe and
select Properties.  Go to the Program tab in that Window.  Go to the
line Cmd Line, which should have "nrosrend.exe" on it.  Change this to
read "nrosrend.exe -dma -4" and you good to go....no quotes obviously.

You can do this, but from what I have heard it doesn't really do anything,
since the TEN enabler does not recognize the switches and defaults to the
normal settings, which really bites as far as I am concerned.

Try it and let us know if you think it works.

you are right, it doesn't recognize the switches. you can get the 4bit
textures only by reducing the dpmi memory settings to 16384 which makes it
think that you don't have enough ram to run the 8bit textures. only problem
withthis is that you have short replays.
