One more F-1 2000 problem...

We all know about the tracks, the lack of sound quality. I heard about
posts mentioning equal AI cars, i haven't had the problem but what i've
noticed is that the player's car is the same for each team (physics
wise). Mc vs. Ar at Montreal; lap times mc-1:18.7 (i think), ar-1:18.4;
top speed, 199 for both before the last chicane. I find it to be
tolerable, hope fully patchable though. Will i purchase, yes.

one of the interviews mentions that although the car models are different
for each car the handling is the same for player cars. So as to not
disadvantage a player because he/she likes minardi say. The AI cars should
have different performance specs and i believe there is a setting to make
them even.

Personally i would prefer to have the spec for different cars for the player
so you can make things harder for yourself by choosing a lesser team.

Gp3 IIRC will also implement the same specs for the player car.

I thought that was an interview of Crammond and the game was GP3, not F1-2000.

The original post was right.  I read the German interview for F1-2000, and
that's what was said - different car models, but the player always has the
same car characteristics.  GP3, of course, also has the same car
characteristics for the player, but only one model for all the AI cars.
