GTR: Very dark, it is daytime right?

GTR demo is very dark on my 9700P.  Ive had to turn up the brightness and
Gamma to Counter Strike levels to be able to see in the shadows ;)  And yes
the headlights are on but the only thing I notice is the dash lighting up.
Is there something Im missing?

This demo just plain blows me away.  Way to go SBDT you guys are the best!

Oh man I have to run RASCAR now ;(

I have the 9800 Pro, and have not noticed it being dark, which drivers are
you using?

It's a bit dark on my Ti4200, but not night time dark, more like cloudy day
dark.  Like the graphics were done by a Brit.  ;o)

Agreed, demo is incredible.  Just hope they can get the multiplayer to work.
I also hope they remember to include some league-friendly features like html
race reports and so forth.  Could certainly be the best racing sim yet.

Yeah, it's definitely on the dark side. Don't see any gamma correction
adjustment either.

It still has the EA controller issues that I have never got to grips with.
Out of the box with the default settings and my Thrustmaster Nascar Pro I
simply lock up the brakes touching the brake pedal and similarly lose the
back end when scarcely on the gas.

The most noticeable issue with the throttle is on the grass when the engines
seems to wind up and then continue to rev after I have lifted. It just feels
like the throttle is lagging.

I am sure it is my controller setting but the handling feels weird, like I
have a front and back wheel smack in the middle of the car. I am sure I am
in the majority but I have yet to find a fix for the dire controller feel.

Cheers
Tony

Latest Omega's.  I ended up adjusting the brightness/contrast on my monitor
to as well as the drivers brightness/gamma to compensate.  All is good :)

Mine too....

BTW.. Anyone figured out how NOT to spin ?

It reminds me a bit of Grand Prix 2.  Beyond a certain rotation point, you
were done.  Period, as in "Change your shorts you just went for a hell of a
ride" done.

Except it seems to happen sooner :)

Sound is awesome!
