Why GameShark Codes in GT?

Has anybody got a reason why there are only GameShark codes for GT 1,
2 and 3? I can't find a shop that will sell GameShark anywhere in
London - and believe me, I've looked!

GT3 is awesome to play, but sometimes I'd like to be able to get a
little ahead without having to work so damned hard.
