Just a thought:

So what if Geoff Crammond leaves Microprose, and starts developing games with
Papyrus? :) Be a good team, eh? Papyrus kinda smiles when you ask about F1, and
then they say "no comment" or more recently, when someone here asked if they
weren't developing an F1 game because of the limited US knowledge, Papy
replied, "Who says we're limited to a US market?"
-I know, total speculation, but wouldn't the two heavywieghts of racing sims
pull off one kick-ass game? :)

Btw- quotes are not exact, just the basic "feel" I got from Papyrus'
postings here recently....

Good rumor anyways ;)

        This is a good idea but the only problem I see is this.  With Geoff
striving for perfection the game would be about a year late and then
with papy working on the patch, that'll come about, oh say 7 months
late we would all be so disgusted and frustrated we'd trade our
Pentiums for Gameboys.

Geoff Crammond and Papyrus (sans Sierra of course) combining together on
racing sims?????  Boy, that would be paramount to a Microsoft-like
*** on all that is speedy.  The type of F1, BTCC, or <gasp> Le Mans
sim a pairing like that could make????  It blows the mind.  It's
interesting that I see info. (CGW August 96) on Sid Meier leaving
Microprose, "Wild Bill" left, and Geoff Crammond too?  Is he really
leaving?  Will Microprose cease to exist?  Who else is there?

Not to snub F1/Indy/Nascar, but let's get some other racing, please!
My personal preference is WRC Rally, but any variety would be nice -
Touring cars, GTP, Superbike, Motorcycle GP, Baja, Dakar, Powerboats -
 There's more to motorsports than than just "open wheel" and Nascar!!
