I installed Indycar 1 today just to see what the differences were and
mabe have some fun with it to.  When starting it I forgot that you need the
manuel for a pass word to start the Sim.  I do remember there being a crack
for this and have checked out the Pits site for it but it's not there.
Anyone have any idea where to go or even what can be done about this?

Indycar 1 V-1.0
I also have but not installed yet V-1.01 and the indianapolis disk V-1.03

Mike

You may want to have a look at the program "X-Brain" at
http://www.megagames.com/cracks/gccompile.html

Big download ~2MB, but has 800+ cracks, including many for older games. In
the program look under "oldcrks.x-b for Indycar (looks like they have
Formula One Grand Prix as well, btw).

I have not tried it (still have to dig up my install disks), but it looks
promising...

Mike,
You may just try hitting Escape.  It worked for me.  Was that the game
that made you go to a page in the manuel and then type in the third word on
that page?   Hope this works for you.

Thanks but all I could find there was the yellow flag cheat.  Couldn't
find the crack.

Again, Thanks anyhow,
Mike

I know the one you're talking about - I used it also.... I'll have to
do some digging, I don't even know where the disks are anymore, but I
believe I had the crack on a disk with them... I'll see if I can find
it tomorrow - email me if you're needing it in more of a hurry than
that...

I have the manual, Mike, if that's of interest to you.
(I've still got the original full 3-box set...on disk!! Only problem is that
for the Indianapolis circuit...it's corrupted :(
