You failed to mention WHICH latest drivers you have.  For the Monster I ? Or
the Matrox ?
I have a Monster 1, K6-233Mhz, 48mb ram and Motocross Madness rocks on my
system!
I DID HOWEVER, have to download the latest drivers from www.3DFX.com
to get it to run.  Make sure you have DirectX6 loaded before installing the
game.

If it's recognizing both cards, it will give you the option to choose
between them.
I'm running MXMadness on two PC's, the older of which has a Screamin'
3D and a Monster 1. I get the option to choose when I start the game.
Are you seeing this?

The game seems pretty sensitive to drivers. I couldn't get it to start
at all until I upgraded the Rendition drivers to the latest version,
even though I'm running it exclusively on the Monster.
(It was giving me the "MX Madness Has Detected A Change In Video
Hardware" message, then kicking back to desktop).

I have it running with the 3Dfx reference drivers available on 3dfx's
web site.
A problem with occasional texture flashing (light blue bars) persists
on both of my machines, the second has a STB Black Magic Voodoo 2
card. I get it using either the card manufacturers drivers, or the
reference drivers.
I'm guessing this is some sort of 3dfx issue that isn't going away.
The problem is minor but annoying.
